The Bahamas Web Awards, the first leading national honor for the
best among Bahamian web sites, is a year-round effort measuring the best of
Bahamas Web sites both in design and functionality.
Bahamas B2B is pleased to announce the following judges will be reviewing the finalists Web sites entered in this year's First Annual Bahamas Web Awards.
Michael Moss
Media Design Coordinator at Cable Bahamas Limited
As Media Design Coordinator at Cable Bahamas Limited for the past 4 years, Michael has been intimately involved in the growth of the Internet in The Bahamas.
With a background in telecommunications and graphic design, Michael is keenly aware of the elements that make a web site successful, both visually and functionally.
His unique qualifications and experience as an all around Digital Chef make him a sought after Freelance Web Consultant.
Antonius Roberts
World renowned Bahamian artist and sculpture. Curator of the Central Bank of The Bahamas Art Gallery. Creator of the Bahamas Web Awards trophy sculpture.
Not only is Antonius Roberts an award winning artist, he is also a caring individual who is deeply involved in things Bahamian and the community. Mr. Robert's has the unique ability to capture the essence and spirit of Bahamian culture in his art and sculpture.
Roberts' art is inspired by life and human spirit and the elements are so intertwined in him that it is somewhat difficult to find the boundary line between the artist and the man.
"My relationship between art and life is very intense. it is the process of living and creating that moves me. I approach my sculptures and paintings with the intent of having fun, splashing, scraping, pushing, pulling, dripping, wiping and carving my way into a state of animation. intuition and my visual sensibilities click in; then the dialogue begins."

Felix Stubbs
Managing Director of IBM Bahamas
Mr. Felix Stubbs has devoted many years to the betterment of Bahamians from all walks of life while sitting on boards of several organizations, including the Salvation Army and the National Insurance Board.
In 1982 he was appointed to the position of Managing Director at IBM Bahamas Limited. He began his career as a Trainee Programmer and held several technical, sales and operational positions before assuming a management role with the company. Wil Wheaton
Accomplished television and film actor and creator of the increasingly popular
wilwheaton.net website.
Wil Wheaton first entered the public eye in 1986 with his critically acclaimed performance in Rob Reiner's "Stand By Me". He spent his teenage years on the starship Enterprise as a series regular on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Wil is currently a writer and performer with the ACME Comedy Theatre, and was recently called "rather remarkable" by the LA Weekly. Wil has recently turned his creative attention to writing. In May of 2003, Wil founded Monolith Press, and published his first book, "Dancing Barefoot," which sold over 1000 copies in four weeks with no mainstream media attention or advertising.
Taken from Wil's award-winning weblog, "Dancing Barefoot" is currently in its second printing, and has been called "geniunely astonishing," "full of humor and humanity," "touching, genuine and funny."
The other side of Wil Wheaton is his Internet site, wilwheaton.net. Wil's natural, down to earth writing style makes for interesting reading. His knack for the community aspects of the Web make his site mildly addicting, as evidenced by the growing number of visitors (over 500,000 uniques a month, and growing) and Wil's rising notoriety on the Web.
He's also really funny.
